GGU-3D-SSFLOW: Step 3: Generate FEM nodes and mesh

The rough structure of the system consists of the four boundary points. Mesh generation is therefore simplest using "Mesh(x/y)/Array" menu item. Select "Regular" as type of array. You will see the following dialog box:

Select the "Rectangle" button and get the following box:

Enter the data in the dialog box and confirm by pressing "OK". If the "Generate new mesh" button is activated, the user-defined FEM nodes are automatically connected to form a triangular mesh. Otherwise, select the "Mesh(x/y)/Automatic" menu item.

To achieve a screen-filling representation of the system got to the "Page size + margins/Auto-resize" menu item. If necessary, move the legend(s) outside of the mesh using the [F11] function key.
