GGU-3D-SSFLOW: Step 5: Assign z ordinates for the top of the embankment

Go to "z/Default depths" to generate the values for the top of the embankment.

Enter the values of the dialog box above and confirm with "Done". The value "15" stands for the surface of the embankment and "14" is the base of the sealing layer at the top of the embankment. The value "0" designates the base of the system. Now go to "z/Depths in section" and travel around the six points of the FEM mesh representing the top of the embankment.

Check your input using "z/Define section" to define a section along the centre of the system. After pressing [Return], a sectional representation should be visible, approximating the Figure 3 above (see also "Ex. step 01 Mesh + depths.f3d" file). Everything okay?
