GGU-AXPILE: General information on piles

Calculation of bored piles and driven piles use differing procedures. Accordingly, some dialog boxes vary when working with the different pile types. Alternatively, to input of a pile diameter, the width of a rectangular pile can also be entered.

The term "pile diameter" is generally used in this manual. If you need to investigate a rectangular pile, the term "pile diameter" should be mentally replaced by the equivalent "pile side width" or "pile width".
