GGU-CANTILEVER: Step 8: Optimise system

To correct the displayed error in the serviceability analysis, select the "System/Optimise" menu item. You will first see the dialog box for the analysis, which you accept with the default settings. You can then optimise the cantilever wall:

Accept the proposed specifications and carry out the optimisation. The program then proposes an increase in the spur width (right) from 1.50 m to 1.60 m. Accept the proposal and then carry out design once more.
