GGU-FOOTING: "Footing plan" menu item

This menu item only appears in the pad footing analysis mode ("Rectangular footing"and
"Circular/annular footing"). If the "Show footing plan" check box is activated the graphical visualisation can be adapted in the dialog box associated with this menu item.

You can define and edit the position of the legend using the values "x" and "y". The size of the legend is controlled by the values for "Width" and "Height". In some legends, you can also adjust the font size of the label and/or specify a background colour.

The fastest way to modify the position or size of the legend is to press the [F11] function key and then to either pull the legend to the new position or to move the sides of the legend to their new size with the left mouse button pressed.

The force and moment arrows may cover the labelling on some footings. In this case, the arrows can be shown at the sides of the footing by activating the respective check boxes.

Besides position and size of the footing plan view, you can specify a number of preferences for representation of further result data. The dialog box is self-explanatory. Experiment a little. After closing the dialog box the modifications are immediately shown on the screen. However, the system should have been previously analysed.
