GGU-RETAIN: "Grouting points analysis" menu item

When you click on the menu item “Verification of grouting points”, the following dialog box opens:

Figure 1

The relevant standard setting for Rd is 75 kN per grouting point. This can be found in the National Annex to DIN EN 1993-5/6.4. Higher grouting point resistances must always be verified.

If no calculation has been performed yet, no shear ranges are specified.

Once a calculation has been performed, you can see the shear ranges displayed below. Shear ranges are located between the zero crossings of the shear force line and are considered as such by the program.

The verification in the program is always on the safe side, as the selected number from Figure 1 is always compared with the selected number of the respective shear range. For each shear range, the integral of the shear force (-> the moment) is used and averaged over the entire shear range with height LQ and on the related width of a double sheet pile wall. It is recommended to stagger the points if shear areas have significantly different required numbers of grouting points.

With version 12.34, the accumulated shear force F(z) and the shear flow q(z) were implemented in the program for each reference width:

This makes it easier to check the plausibility of the results. The smallest possible value for the number of grouting points should not fall below the value of F(z,max) / Rd if the verification of the grouting points is not fulfilled.
