InstaCmAct: Restoring a CmActLicense on the same machine

You may not be able to return your CmActLicense because you did not have access to your computer at short notice (hardware defect). In this case, it is possible to restore your CmActLicense on this computer after a new operating system has been installed, for example.

The current version of the CodeMeter Runtime Kit (CodeMeter license management driver) must first be installed on the newly installed computer. To do this, download and run the installation file (32 and 64 bit) from the Internet:

Open the Internet page once again on the newly installed computer using the same software link that you used to transfer the license to your computer (for example:
http://lc.codemeter.com/32710/depot/get.php?id=MCXVZ-XYXYX-ES5EX-9FCPL- XXXXX).

Click the "Restore Licenses" button. The page that opens displays the conditions necessary for restoring the CmContainer and the CmActlicense. You must accept the conditions so that you can use the then active button to restore your computer as a CmContainer and have the CmActlicense entered for the GGU software.
