GGU-CAD: "Lines via editor" menu item

If you need to draw lines with precise start and end coordinates, this is often difficult using the mouse-controlled functions. This can be done using this menu item, which can also be accessed via the [F4] function key. The following dialog box appears:

Enter the respective x- and y-coordinates of the start and end point of the line. Activate the "End point = next start point" check box to created a polygon course. After confirming your input the defined line is drawn on the screen. If you go to this menu item a second time the old end coordinates are adopted as start coordinates.

Alternatively, input can be in polar coordinates. Click the button "Switch to polar coordinates". The following adapted dialog box opens:

Instead of the end coordinates, enter the length and angle of the line here.
