GGU-GEO-GRAPH: "Auto-resize" menu item

This menu item provides a to-scale visualisation, in both x and y coordinates, of the data points, contour lines, bar charts, etc.. The program computes the image coordinates so that all data points (including bar charts, etc.) are represented on the screen. This can be useful,

  • if, for example, after graphical visualisation of contour lines, new data points are added, which lie outside of the original image coordinates,

  • if you move from a representation of contour lines to one with bar charts, circle charts, etc. It is then possible that the bars, circles, etc, project outside of the plot margins. If this menu item is selected, the heights of the bar graphics, pie graphics, etc., are taken into consideration, but not any annotations above the graphics.

  • if, despite all your efforts, graphics cannot be correctly represented on the screen. In a previous step, you probably altered the image coordinates to such an extent that visible graphic elements are no longer within the area seen on the screen.

This function can also be accessed using the [F9] function key.
