GGU-CAD: "Define scale" menu item
After clicking this menu item a point on the screen must be clicked and the required (x/y) data pair then entered for that point. The program then automatically computes the x- and y-direction scales from the location of this point and that of the origin (see menu item "Preferences/Define origin").
This menu item can be used if a site map has been imported as a graphics file, for example, without precisely defining the scale beforehand. First redefine the origin at the end of a dimensioned line using the previous menu item. The current scale can then be defined by going to this menu item and clicking the end of the dimensioned line. Accept the computed scale. If the site map is subsequently printed with a user-defined scale, first define the required scale using "Preferences/Scales" and then bring the drawing objects to the new scale using "Preferences/Enlarge/Reduce (layers)".
