GGU-TIME-GRAPH: "General legend" menu item

By activating the "Show legend" check box, a General legend can be displayed on the screen. The legend is only displayed in the hydrograph visualisation if the file name display is activated, because otherwise no other entries are made in the legend.

The shape and appearance of the legend can be altered. You can define and edit the position of the legend using the values "x" and "y". You control the size of the legend using "Font size" and "max. no. of lines"; where necessary, several columns are used. The fastest way to modify the position of the legend is to press the [F11] function key and then to pull the legend to the new position with the left mouse button pressed.

By activating the "Short" or "Long" option buttons the current file name can be shown in the legend, either with or without the path.

If a heading is entered or the check box "Date as heading" is activated in the dialog boxes accessed via the "Presentation format (contours)" and "Presentation format (gradients)" buttons in the menu item "Contours/Display", the heading and the currently selected data date are also displayed in the legend.

If nothing is entered in the check boxes mentioned above, the General legend will only be displayed if one of the file name display check boxes in the above dialog box is activated.
