GGU-FOOTING: Select the limiting depth (Example 1)

In the "Edit/Limiting depth" menu item, the type of limiting depth calculation can be defined in three different ways.

If the limiting depth lies below the depth of the lowest soil layer, the values of this layer are used in the settlement analysis.

For settlement analyses, a preloading in kN/m² can be subtracted from the current footing pressure. Settlement analysis will then be performed with the reduced values. The overburden stress is also reduced by the preloading value when calculating the limiting depth.
