GGU-RETAIN: Approach for soldier pile walls

In general, adopting water pressures for soldier pile walls does not make sense, because they are usually permeable to water. But even when using timber infill, water pressure can build up behind the wall in certain circumstances (see figure).

The program therefore allows for adopting water pressures with soldier pile walls.
