GGU-3D-SSFLOW: Step 4: Assign z ordinates for the embankment foreland and hinterland

Now that the rough system structure has been generated, we must assign the nodes a z ordinate. Go to "z/Default depths" to initially generate the values for the embankment foreland.

Enter the values of the dialog box above and confirm with "Done". The value "10" stands for the surface of the embankment foreland and "9" is the top of the sealing layer. The value "0" designates the base of the system. Now go to "z/Depths in section" and travel around the left nine points of the FEM mesh (embankment foreland).

Press the "Assign default depths" button. Travel around the six right nodes (embankment hinterland) of the FEM mesh and assign these the default depth.
